The Gospel Through Jesus the Servant

Reflect & Respond:
1. When I read that Jesus “Did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage,” how does that challenge my own tendency to use my status or “rights” to get ahead of others?
2. Jesus served because he “loved to the end.” When I serve others, is my heart motivated by a genuine sacrificial love for them, or am I doing it wrong out of a sense of religious obligation or a desire to be seen as “humble”?
3. Jesus took up the “basin and town” to perform the lowest task in the room. What is the “lowest” task in my home, church, or workplace that I usually avoid, and how can I take it up this week to follow his example?
